Alguacer

Fernando is a Kamëntsa from the Sibundoy Valley in Colombia. Fernando was recently elected alguacil (sheriff). The Kamëntsa community has its own legal system so that everyone in the territory can be judged according to Indigenous law. And Fernando now has the heavy responsibility of enforcing the law in his small town: summoning the accused, hearing testimony in court, sometimes administering whippings as punishment. Will he be able to rise to the challenge of his new duties?
