Synopsis

The coming-of-age story of Margo Crane, a 15-year-old sharpshooter in rural Michigan in 1978. After a family tragedy, Margo sets off by canoe on the Stark River in search of her mother, a journey that introduces her to a world filled with wonders and dangers.
